Gay couple Steven Monjeza and Tiwonge Chimbalanga, who were convicted of gross indecency and unnatural acts two days ago, were today given the longest possible sentence Judge Nyakwawa Cunty-Chops could dole out - 14 years hard labor.
While handing down the sentence, the backward-ass motherfucker said, "I will give you a scaring sentence so that the public be protected from people like you, so that we are not tempted to emulate this horrendous example." He also noted that the couple had failed to show remorse. This story is a fucking tragedy, and it is not just Malawi where gay rights are in the dark ages; we learn that Uganda has plans to introduce the death penalty for homosexuals - this clip, depressing as it is, is worth watching.

25 Italian policemen are today's Cunts of the Day.In a surprise move, a court in northern Italy has sentenced 25 senior police officers to a total of 85 years in prison for brutally assaulting protesters at the G8 Summit in Genoa in 2001. Of course, the government of Silvio Berlusconi (you know, the diminutive, egotistical twat who is Italy's Prime Minister) has backed the violent, law breaking cops throughout.
A previous trial saw all senior officers exonerated, so today's verdict really is a triumph of justice, and a serious message to cops everywhere: if corrupt Italy is busting cops then you too can be charged. This message will, hopefully, get through to UK prosecutors who are dragging their feet in laying charges in the case of the death of Ian Tomlinson. The fuckwitted Judge, Nyakwawa Usiwa-Usiwa, said that engaging in gay sex is "against the order of nature" which is about as tragic and backward as it can get. Here, however, is the rub. We condemn backward-ass Malawi for not being as "enlightened" as we are in the west, where homosexuality only recently ceased to be illegal. The west's only recourse against Malawi is to threaten to cut off aid money. Doing this will not hurt the politicians or the judiciary one bit, but it will go a long way towards ensuring homophobic, backward-ass Malawi remains that way.That said, we must condemn these convictions in the strongest terms. Legislated hatred and homophobia is unnacceptable, and if writing about it, banging our heads against the wall about it, and shouting about it is the best we can do, then do that we must.For those of you who came in late: homophobia in any form whatsoever is unacceptable, and anyone who disagreees can, quite simply, get fucked.
