Former Pennsylvania judge Michael Conahan is today's Cunt of the Day.

In a case that is so incredibly cuntish it blows your mind, Conahan has pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy in a "kids for cash" scandal. Former judge Mark Ciavarella has also been charged.

Here's how it goes: Conahan closed a county owned juvenile detention centre in 2002, and then signed  an agreement to use a private detention centre. Prosecutors say that the two judges then worked together to funnel a steady stream of juvenile detainees to the facility in exchange for $2.8m in bribes.

The BBC reports that some children "were shackled, denied lawyers, and pulled from their homes for offences which included stealing change from cars and failure to appear as witnesses."

For using young people whose lives they ruined in order to enrich themselves, Conahan and Ciavarella are such unethical, greedy, and corrupt cunts that the many years they now face in jail does not seem like punishment enough.
